How To Use POF Block List
PlentyOfFish (POF) is the online dating site where you can message to start the conversation and others can also send you message to start a conversation. To block Someone on POF or to put someone on POF Block List, you will need to sign in first. To sign in, you can follow these steps:
- You need to open your browser and open any search engine that is familiar to your. You can open google because it most familiar to everyone. To open google, you can click on this https://www.google.com link. In google, you can search for POF login where you will get various results.
- So, you can click on this link http://www.pof.com or plentyoffish.com to open the login page of POF. In that page, you will see many things which is not necessary. You will also see a login fill up form tab in right side. There you need to enter your email address or username in first blank and password in second blank respectively.
- Then you can click on “Check Mail!” text button in order to access your account.

How To Block Someone on POF:
- In the home page, you will see three navigation type bar which leads you to use different features POF. In the second navigation bar, you will see “Inbox”. You need to click on that and down on the page, you will see some tabs where Messages is the inbox. It is the place you get your messages received.
- You should have a message in your inbox and then you need to open that conversation with the user that you want to block. The Block User button is located next to the reply box which you need to click on to block.
- Then after clicking that, that user will be blocked in sending message to you but will be able to search and see your profile. Hence, this way the user goes to your POF Block List.
After block, you would like to see them in the POF block list. To view the block user list, you can follow these steps:
- From the home page, you can to the block list but it will be lengthy so you can go through this http://www.pof.com/blockedusers.aspx link to enter the block list page.
- In that page, you can see all the blocked users by you.
From the same page, you can unblock the blocked users :
- In the block list, you need to select the particular user and scrolling down, you will see a button “Unblock Selected”. You need to click on that button to unblock the users.
Blocking is necessary if the one person that annoys you the most and you don’t like the conversation and don’t want to see them. You also need to remember to sign out form the device after finish using it.

You don’t need to have interacted with a user to block them.
❶ Log in to your Plenty Of Fish account.
❷ Go to the POF users profile.
❸ Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Add To Favorites! button.
❹ You will automatically be directed to the page that has all your favorites.
❺ Next to the person you wish to block click the link that says View MSGS.
You will be directed to a page that says there are no messages between you and that person. There will be a message textbox next to that and on the side of the message textbox there will be the link BLOCK USER. Click that and they are blocked. There does not have to be any prior conversations or interactions between you and that person whatsoever.
